Theological Education

“He is the one who gave these gifts to the Church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and the teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the Church, the Body of Christ”.  Ephesians 4 v.11‐12

The Free Churches Group has twenty-four Group members. Many of the Group members have educational programmes within their denominations to support training and learning for ministry, discipleship and Christian service and to deepen theological scholarship.

The Free Churches Group have a passion for developing the people of God, to serve God and to promote faithful Christian witness in the public square. The FCG see that one way to develop and work towards this is through theological education.

Here is an example from one of our Group members - The Congregational Federation. This denomination offers a wide range of learning and development programmes.
