This is a Free Church Healthcare Chaplain Annual Study day which will be on Wednesday 12th June. It will take place at Central URC Church, 60 Norfolk St, Sheffield S1 2JB. The title of the day will be ‘Chaplaincy on the Edge: exploring being on the margins through research, art and story’ and there will be input from Tim Dixon, Suzanne Nockels and Kate Cornwell.

Nourishing Roots with Nicola Slee
The Free Churches Group Nourishing Roots sessions are a series of quiet days designed to give chaplains an opportunity to recharge, relax and re-energise. The days are arranged with FCG chaplains in different sectors in mind, but opened up to others interested in attending. Booking via Eventbrite.

PRISON AND RESETTLEMENT TRAINING CONFERENCE

You are warmly invited to above training, encouragement and networking hosted by London City Mission. This conference is for anyone who works, volunteers or is interested in prison ministry or resettlement of ex-offenders.
Hear from a wide range of experienced guest speakers looking amongst other topics at relevant questions:
* How can churches support institutionalised people?
* How do we care for those who have experienced trauma and abuse?
* What are the real challenges of leaving prison and finding a church?
There will also be time for worship, prayer, and opportunities to meet and network with other churches and organisations working in prison and resettlement.
